Justin “J-Trx” Echols (born 1986), professionally known as J-Trx (pronounced tracks) and JTP, is an American Record Producer/Entrepreneur/ Philanthropist from Gary,Indiana, who is most known for his work with Sony Pictures (The Equalizer 2) starring Denzel Washington featuring his hit single “Robbin Hood”, WWE 24 “R-Truth”, E! Hollywood/Viacom “Total Divas”, Platinum International K Pop group JYJ, Fox TV’s (Shots Fired), Ron Killings (WWE R-Truth), Drumma Boy, Universal Records, Tony Terry, Meelah Williams, B5, Musiq Soulchild, Reason, Howard Hewit, Sisqo, The Game, Do or Die, Gorilla Zoe, and many other notable artist/companies. J-Trx grew up in Gary,Indiana. He started composing at the age of 7. In 2002, while attending Griffith High School a teacher Andrea McMullin, always pushed him and did anything she could to help him to find his light and purpose, what she noticed later pushed him to the start of his professional career. J-Trx signed with Shakehouse Productions working with label mate “TheYoung Gunna” (Warner Bro Recording artist Jody Breeze), where he produced “Money,Cars, Clothes” for No More Secrets Mixtape. then went on to produce remixes for the K. Smith and Omarion record called “Better Man”, which brought rave reviews and of course more work. Later J-Trx went on to work on projects for artists such as Keke Palmer, E DUBB, Erica Badu (remix called Real Thang), Adero, Phsycho Drama, Triple Darkness, Thugged Out, Mutt Dogg, (dirty game records), Block Entertainment,Def Jam, recognition and so many other talented innovators of music.

J-Trx was Music Supervisor/Associate Producer of the critically acclaimed Feature Film “Call Me King” where he not only was music supervisor for the film and Soundtrack but produced all the original music. With this opportunity, he released his first project tied with the movie executive producing the entire “Crown The King Soundtrack”. In 2018, his first official single was featured in (Sony Pictures) The Equalizer 2 starring (Denzel Washington).
